meet the pack

Small team. Big walks. Very tired dogs.

Paddock Lane started in 2019 when Jess Morgan left an office job in the city, bought a van, and decided the best use of her life was long beach walks with other people's dogs. Six years on, the Paddock Lane pack is a small and carefully-grown team of four sitters — all police-checked, pet first-aid certified, and chosen because they are the kind of humans dogs run towards at the park. We walk small groups, keep detailed care notes on every pet, and send photo updates from every single visit.

Pet First Aid

Every sitter re-certified annually.

Fully insured

$20M public liability via Petsecure.

Police checked

National police clearance on file for every sitter.

Small groups only

Max 4 dogs per walk — always personality-matched.

Jess has been walking Biscuit for three years. Every single walk ends with a proper photo update, a note on how he pooed (yes really), and a GPS map showing exactly where they went. We went to Europe for five weeks last year and genuinely missed getting the updates.

Our 17-year-old cat Miso needs insulin injections twice a day. Paddock Lane was the only service that didn't blink when we asked. Two sitters trained on her routine, photo updates every visit, and peace of mind for two weeks in Bali.

Rescue staffy, high anxiety, hates other dogs. Jess does a solo adventure walk every Wednesday — the only 60 minutes of the week where our dog is unambiguously happy. They send the most ridiculous action shots.

good to know

The things you're probably wondering.

Are you insured and first-aid trained?

+

Yes — every sitter on the Paddock Lane team holds a current Pet First Aid certificate (Prime Pet First Aid), a police check, and we carry $20M public liability plus care, custody & control cover through Petsecure. Certificates available on request. We also carry a fully stocked first-aid kit in the van on every walk.

How many dogs are in a group walk?

+

Never more than four. We match pack compositions by size, energy and personality — so a shy whippet isn't bulldozed by a lab puppy. Reactive, elderly or very young dogs are always booked into 1-on-1 adventure walks instead. You also get to meet the sitter and the pack at a free 20-minute greet before your first booking.

Do you take cats, rabbits and other pets?

+

Absolutely. Drop-in visits cover cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles and the occasional axolotl. We can administer oral and injectable medications where your vet has cleared us to do so. Overnight in-home sitting works particularly well for cats and elderly dogs who hate boarding.

What updates do I get while you're with my pet?

+

Every single visit: 3–5 photos, a short note on how the walk/visit went, and a GPS-tracked map for walks so you can see the route. For overnight bookings you also get a morning and evening check-in. It's how we'd want it if we were the ones on the plane.
